The Neighborhood of Bronzeville

Bronzeville is located on Chicago’s near South Side. It has been a neighborhood rich in history and culture boasting close connections to Louis Armstrong, Buddy Guy, Richard Wright, Muddy Waters and other noteworthy celebrities. Bronzeville had endured the test of time only to become stronger and more inured as a community with spirit and soul. It’s people maintain a unique appreciation for this community’s cultural heritage and remain loyal residents looking forward to good times ahead. Over the last few decades and more recently, retail, services and restaurants are seeing the advantages of the community and are joining the redevelopment surge now taking place. As exciting as this is however, a principal attraction of the neighborhood is its historic identity. More and more beautiful vintage residences are being conscientiously restored and people are moving in and staying. Most important, its residents see so many more reasons to stay right here, for few places have its energy and its aura. Bronzeville is a great place to live.

Transportation is as good and convenient as it gets at Winterberry Place with the Dan Ryan Expressway and public transportation close by. The Green Line train station and CTA bus stops are only a block away.
